ABOUT
US
Carvalho Construction LLC was founded with a straightforward idea: construction work should be honest, well-planned, and built to last. Based in Watsonville, California, we bring that philosophy to every project we take on—whether it's a full renovation, exterior improvements, or careful finish work that ties a space together.

OUR APPROACH
We believe great construction happens when planning meets craftsmanship. That means taking the time to understand what a client actually needs before breaking ground. It means communicating clearly throughout the process—no jargon, no disappearing acts, no surprises. And it means finishing work that holds up, not just work that looks good on day one.
Every project we take on receives the same level of attention. We don't distinguish between “small jobs” and “big clients.” Whether you're repairing a deck or reframing a section of your home, the work deserves to be done right.
WHAT WE DO
Our services span the core categories of residential and light commercial construction:
- Renovation Support – Demo, framing, and rebuild work for interior and exterior transformations.
- Exterior Improvements – Siding, decks, trim, fencing, and curb appeal upgrades.
- Structural & Framing Work – Load-bearing walls, floor systems, and code-compliant framing.
- Finish & Detail Work – Trim carpentry, built-ins, and precision details.
- Repair & Restoration – Damage repair, wood rot remediation, and structural restoration.
- Project Planning & Coordination – Scope development, material planning, and subcontractor coordination.
WHERE WE WORK
We're based in Watsonville and serve the greater Santa Cruz County area, including Capitola, Aptos, Scotts Valley, and surrounding communities. For larger projects, we're open to travel within the Central Coast region.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
CLEAR COMMUNICATION
No jargon, no disappearing acts. You'll know what's happening and when.
PRACTICAL TIMELINES
We quote what we can deliver and deliver what we quote.
DETAIL-FOCUSED EXECUTION
The small things—joints, edges, alignments—define the quality of the whole.
DURABLE MATERIAL THINKING
We recommend materials that perform, not just products that look good in a catalog.
